I just checked my PayPal account and the money has definately been sent, but the status of the payment is "unclaimed", so you need to go into your account and somehow claim it.
The following answer was given to me from the website when I searched the help area:

This most often occurs for one of the following reasons:
1. Your recipient might not have signed up with PayPal using the same email address that you used to send the money. The recipient simply needs to add this email address to their account (they can add up to eight addresses) and confirm the new email address. The money will then immediately appear in their balance.2. The recipient may not have confirmed their email address. Any payments sent to an account will not appear in the account balance until the user has completed the registration process by confirming their email address.Please check that your email address has been confirmed at PayPal, could be that payment isn't showing because of this reason?
