I don't know of any other forums that wouldn't require an immediate outlay of money, brother, with which, sadly, I'm unable to help at the moment. This will do for the time being. But we may ultimately have to make other arrangements. If we have to go to Vbulletin or something, I think us "regulars" can probably scrape together the needed dinero....

My parents did an early withdraw so that I wouldn't have to do any end of the year testing. (Stuff like that just doesn't matter in home school, haha.) And then I'll be homeschooling for my senior year.

Hiya Matt! Yep, the main forums aren't accepting new posts. We're not completely sure what's going on but gentlespiritedlady has been investigating, as has Cody. Stay tuned for the updates....
Someone will have to clue me in when I get back.

The forum itself is fine, it is the hosting site for our forum that is the problem. I found where it says they are NO LONGER operating, so all of the forums that are hosted by that site are also experiencing the same trouble.
I think that Cody will have to move the 1611 forum to another web hosting site, but I do not know if that is possible without having to start all over.

I think that I could come up with some money to help get us a new place. If everyone could chip in $10 or $20 each, that might cover a place for a year.
I like the V-Bulletin format, and we were discussing the possibility of going to that type of message board, back when we were having all those 'slow' problems earlier this year.
Input, anyone?
